We’re please to anounce our collaboration with Derek Hairon of Jersey Kayak Adventures on Sit-on-Top Kayak - a beginner’s manual. Derek’s company is one of the few sit-on-top specific guiding and instructional operators in the United Kingdom. Derek and co-founder Gary Kemp, decided back in 2004 to base their operations around sit-on-tops, providing trips and courses for the growing trend. Sit-on-tops are the perfect craft for exploring the beautiful rugged Atlantic coastline of the Channel Islands with it’s caves, headlands and secluded beaches. Folk with a sense of adventure are getting afloat for the first time, all over the world, with sit-on-top craft. If there is one reason behind Derek’s growing enthusiasm for sit-on-top paddling, it’s fun factor!
