Hi all, just an update on the forthcoming guide to sea kayaking in South West England. Working on the book, so far this year I’ve researched and written up most of Dorset and the Isle of Wight, as well as a fair bit of Devon. I haven’t even made a start on Cornwall, that’s my summer holiday project! However, I spent last week in the Isles of Scilly, getting that section of the book photographed and written up. White beaches, sunshine, uninhabited islands and wild reefs.
It’s a tough assignment, but somebody has to do it.

Thanks for the update Mark. I wouldn’t like to hazard a guess as to how many miles you have paddled this year, it does appear that the guide is indeed exhaustively researched. Pete
