Pesda Press have teamed up with the Snowdonia Society to produce a book that commemorates the 40th anniversary of the society.
This lively narrative chronicles the story of the Snowdonia Society – its successes and failures, its internal conflict and the personalities involved – as well as discussing the wider issues which have affected the unique landscape of the Snowdonia National Park over the last forty years.
Rob Collister is an international mountain guide who lives in the Conwy Valley. He has been a member of the Snowdonia Society for thirty years and was a Nominated Member of the Snowdonia National Park Committee from 1990 –1993. He is the author of Lightweight Expeditions (1989) and Over the Hills and Far Away (1996).
