The Frankfurt Book Fair is the largest trade fair for the book publishing industry in the world. Thanks to help from International Business Wales, an arm of the Welsh Assembly, Pesda Press were able to attend. Pesda Press have had a very interesting and productive time at the Frankfurt Book Fair.
On the foreign rights front we have had enquiries from publishers in Germany, Norway, Italy and The Netherlands. We have also agreed to take on a rights agent for Spanish and Portuguese speaking countries.
Another positive development is that we are in talks with a highly recommended distributor for Australia and New Zealand.
Of course here were lot of receptions and parties that needed attending, but ‘hey’ … you have to take the rough with the smooth.
