Here are a few recent and not so recent blog posts from photographers I’ve been following online. Do send in your top adventure sports photography blog bookmarks, tutorials, workflows and inspirational portfolios, and I’ll keep this list up to date.

- Mountainbike photography from Seb Rogers. Low on information (he does sell mountainbike photography courses), but there are some interesting insights into Seb’s techniques in many of his posts.
- Strobist is a host of information on using off camera flash from David Hobby. This is a really excellent resource which spans the whole gamut of light and lighting. Check out his recent posts on shooting Trip Jenning’s portrait and a climber’s hands with two strobes as well as lighting large spaces like climbing walls.
- Darin McQuiod’s tutorials about his workflow shooting whitewater kayaking. Reproduced from his River Lover blog.
- Mark Rainsley’s advice on the way he shoots sea kayaking, whitewater and wildlife.
- Alexandre Buisse’s advice on photographing mountaineering (and mountaineering with a camera) published on UK Climbing.
- Tim Kemple’s blog of his work including a behind the scenes series of posts about shooting big wall climbing in Yosemite.
- Choosing and using larger strobes in the outdoors, from Steve Rogers, kayaker and adventure photographer.
- Action Sports Cartel, online resource for action sports photographers, photographer profiles and practical advice.

Updated list 16th February. Do send in your suggestions and tips. Pete
