Mountain Leader Training UK have just completed their Climbing Wall Leading Award handbook. The CWLA is for instructors who teach lead climbing skills at indoor walls. Climbing Games appears high on their list of recommended reading. You can download a PDF of the handbook from the MLTUK site.
Exellent I was looking forward to that even though I have my SPA and don’t see a need for the Climbing wall leader award, it still can be very useful. I’m wondering if they are going to publish a book like the green hillwalking and the blue winter skills book.
This has been on my recommended reading list for CWA and SPA course attendees since it came out last year
I think it will become a firm favourite and a ‘must have’ on the bookshelf for aspiring and established climbing coaches and supervisors alike
